The model is from HobbyMaster's aviation edition. This is a well made model with lots of accessories. It is possible to have the model on a landing gear or on a stand.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II, known as the "Warthog", is a single-seat attack aircraft for close-in support of ground forces. It has a 30mm GAU-8/A Gatling gun and heavy titanium plate defenses. The aircraft can carry a variety of weapons and is capable of operating from unprepared airfields. It has been used successfully in conflicts such as the Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan. It will serve in the US Air Force until 2028, when it will be replaced by the F-35 Lightning II. The A-10 Thunderbolt II is popular among pilots and ground forces because of its reliability and durability.
