Sophisticated metal model of the American Douglas B-26K Counter Invader

Metal replica of the aircraft with plastic accessories in 1:72 scale.

The coloring and armament is situated to the Congolese Air Force, #64-17649, Brazzaville, 1965

Dimensions: length 22,3 cm, wingspan 24,8 cm

The model is from the HobbyMaster aviation edition. This is a well made model with lots of accessories. It is possible to have the model on a landing gear or on a stand.

The A-26 Invader was an American military aircraft produced between 1941-1945 for bombing, reconnaissance and attack. It had high speed, good maneuverability and a large bomb and missile capacity. It was used in several conflicts, including World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. After World War II, it was converted to a civilian aircraft and some A-26s are still operated as private aircraft. In total, approximately 2,500 A-26s were produced.
