The A-26 Invader was an American military aircraft produced between 1941-1945 for bombing, reconnaissance and attack. It had high speed, good maneuverability and a large bomb and missile capacity. It was used in several conflicts, including World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. After World War II, it was converted to a civilian aircraft and some A-26s are still operated as private aircraft. In total, approximately 2,500 A-26s were produced.
