Airbus A300
The Airbus A300 is a wide-body airliner developed by Airbus in the 1970s.
The first flight of this aircraft took place in 1972. It was the first aircraft to be fully developed in Europe and was intended for intercontinental flights. The A300 was also the first aircraft to use a high-performance twin-engine jet engine. It has a capacity of up to 360 passengers and a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles. The A300 became a very successful aircraft and was produced in various variants until 2007. In 1983, the A300-600 was introduced, which had improved aerodynamics and a more modern cockpit. The A300 has also been used as a cargo aircraft and for military purposes. Currently, fewer than 100 of this type are in service.
