Airbus A300
The Airbus A300 is a wide-body transport aircraft developed by Airbus in the 1970s.
The first flight of this aircraft took place in 1972. It was the first aircraft to be fully developed in Europe for intercontinental flights. The A300 was also the first aircraft to use twin-engine, high-performance jet propulsion. It has a capacity of up to 360 passengers and a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles. The A300 became a very successful aircraft and was produced in various variants until 2007. In 1983, the A300-600 was introduced, which had improved aerodynamics and a more modern cockpit. The A300 was also used as a cargo aircraft and for military purposes. There are currently fewer than 100 aircraft of this type in service.
