Bell UH-1F Huey
The Bell UH-1F Huey is a military helicopter that was developed based on the original UH-1 Huey model by Bell Helicopter in the 1960s for the United States Air Force (USAF). The UH-1F Huey was designed to transport troops and supplies and to support ground troops. The UH-1F was an improved model of the UH-1D and had an extended cabin and improved engines for greater performance and increased payload capacity. The helicopter could carry up to 10 passengers or 6 stretcher-bearers. Like its predecessor, it was equipped with armament and could be used as a support helicopter for attacks on ground targets. The UH-1F was deployed during the Vietnam War and also served in other conflicts such as the Persian Gulf and Afghanistan. Today, most of the UH-1F Hueys have been retired from service and replaced by more modern helicopter models.
