The Boeing 707 was a groundbreaking four-engine jet transport aircraft developed by Boeing in the 1950s. It was the first aircraft suitable for transporting large numbers of passengers over long distances using jet engines. The Boeing 707 had a capacity of up to 189 passengers and was equipped with four Pratt & Whitney JT3C jet engines.
