Boeing 727
The Boeing 727 was a narrow-body jet airliner produced by Boeing from 1963 to 1984. The Boeing 727 was a pioneer in many areas of aviation. It was the first airplane with three engines, which increased its reliability and safety. It was also the first airplane to use a jet engine at the stern, which allowed for a shorter runway. Its capacity and power made it a popular short- and medium-haul aircraft. Production of the Boeing 727 ended in 1984, but its importance to the development of aviation remains invaluable.
