The Lockheed HC-130H Hercules is a military transport aircraft derived from the classic C-130 Hercules. The aircraft can carry up to 92 troops or 20 tons of cargo. It is powered by four Allison T56-A-15 turboprop engines. Specially equipped for search and rescue operations, aerial refueling and special forces support. It made its first flight in 1964 and has since been deployed in numerous missions around the world. Upgrades include updated avionics systems and communications equipment. It is primarily used for search and rescue operations, but is also capable of a variety of military operations and provides air support in a wide range of situations.
