Douglas DC-9-32
The DC-9 is a mid-size narrow-body transport aircraft developed by the Douglas Aircraft Company in the 1960s. The aircraft was designed as a short-range solution for regional and short-haul service, and became very successful. The DC-9 has a capacity of up to 125 passengers and is powered by twin jet engines, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 876 km/h and a range of 2,580 km. The aircraft was in production until the 1980s, when it was replaced by more modern aircraft. The DC-9 was produced in various versions and variants, the most successful of which were the DC-9-30 and DC-9-50 models. These aircraft were equipped with improved engines that reduced noise and improved the economy of operation.
