The F-102 Delta Dagger was a single-seat fighter aircraft developed by Convair, used to defend US airspace. It was the first American aircraft with a radar-based weapons system and the ability to fly supersonically without afterburners. It had a variety of missile weapons and was also used as a reconnaissance and training aircraft. 889 aircraft were produced and used in several countries, taking part in many conflicts.
