The model comes on a chassis with a stand to display the aircraft in flight.
TheF-14 Tomcat was an airborne fighter aircraft produced by Grumman for the US Navy. It was armed with a six-barrel gun and various types of missiles and cruise missiles. It was powered by two afterburning turboprop engines and had a top speed of Mach 2.34. The F-14 Tomcat became famous for the movie Top Gun and was deployed in several conflicts. It was equipped with advanced long-range radar and some aircraft were upgraded. A total of 712 were produced and served in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 2006.
