About the M4 Sherman:
The M4 Sherman was the main American medium tank during World War II, named after General William T. Sherman. It was armed with a 75mm or 76mm gun and several machine guns and had a crew of five. The Sherman was the most widely used tank of the Allies and was very flexible in various roles. It had some shortcomings, such as insufficient armor protection, but was effective during the Normandy landings and during the Battle of the Bulge. After the war, it was used until the 1960s and appeared in several films and television series.
