MIG 21:
This aircraft is very well known in the Czech Republic, because it served in our army for a long time. This aircraft was developed by Mikoyan and Gurievich in the Soviet Union. It was nicknamed Fishbed in the NATO code. The aircraft was put into service in 1959 and at that time it had everything the Soviet Union needed. Small, fast, reliable and, most importantly, simple for large-scale production. According to sources, up to 13,000 of all the different variants were produced in the Soviet Union and other friendly countries under license.
