Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 was a Soviet fighter aircraft that was developed and produced during World War II. The aircraft entered service in 1941 and was designed as a replacement for the previous MiG-1 and MiG-2 aircraft models. The MiG-3 was equipped with one cannon and two machine guns. The aircraft was fast, agile and had good armament, but its design was complex and expensive to produce. The MiG-3 was mainly used to protect Soviet airfields and airspace.
