The Jawa 250/353, also known as the Jawa Kyvacka, was an important motorcycle line produced by the Czechoslovak Jawa company in the 1960s and 1970s. These motorcycles became iconic in socialist countries due to their distinctive design and reliability. They were powered by two-stroke, air-cooled, two-cylinder engines with a displacement of 248 cc and an output of around 12 hp. The Jawa 250/353 had an unmistakable look thanks to the so-called swingarm, which was a sprung rear section that improved comfort on rough terrain. Their simple design and reliability made them suitable for various types of riding, from city routes to longer trips. During its period of popularity, the Jawa 250/353 became a symbol of freedom and accessibility in a world with a limited supply of vehicles. To this day, this motorcycle series maintains a cult status among enthusiasts and nostalgics.
