About Sd. car 184:
Sd. Kfz. 184 Ferdinand was a heavy tank destroyer developed by Germany during World War II with production limited to 1943. Armed with an 88mm cannon and heavy armour, the Ferdinand was used to destroy armored vehicles, especially Soviet tanks. It was powered by two Maybach HL 120 TRM engines and reached a maximum speed of 30 km/h on the road and 14 km/h off-road. During the Battle of Kursk in 1943, most of the Ferdinands were destroyed. The remaining ones were modernized and renamed Elefant. Several specimens of Ferdinand and Elefant are preserved today as museum exhibits around the world.
