Tupolev Tu-134
The Tupolev Tu-134 is a narrow-body transport aircraft developed by Soviet designer Tupolev in the 1960s. This aircraft was designed for short and medium routes, and could carry up to 84 passengers. The aircraft was powered by two Soloviev D-30 turboprop engines, which provided up to 66.7 kN of thrust. The maximum speed of the aircraft is 900 km/h and the maximum range is up to 3,100 km. The Tupolev Tu-134 was produced from 1966 to 1984 and during that time a total of 852 units were produced. The Tupolev Tu-134 has also been used as a presidential and government aircraft in several countries such as the USSR, later Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The aircraft was used in both passenger and cargo transport, as well as for medical evacuations and military operations.
