Vickers Viscount 800
The Vickers Viscount 800 was an improved version of the original Viscount 700. It was developed by Vickers-Armstrongs Ltd. in the 1950s as a larger and more modern version of the original aircraft. The Viscount 800 had a capacity of up to 100 passengers and a range of up to 3,700 km. It was powered by two Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engines, which provided high performance while allowing fuel economy. The aircraft was designed to be efficient and reliable, making it a popular transport aircraft for some airlines around the world. The Viscount 800 was equipped with modern navigation and communication systems and had an upgraded cockpit with electronic instruments. The aircraft also had improved systems to ensure passenger safety and comfort, including vibration and noise dampers.
